Sadras

Sadras is a fortress town located on the Coromandel Coast 70 km south of Madras, in Chingleput District. The [[Dutch]] built the fort, which came under contol of the British in 1796 until 1818, when the Dutch again took contol until they . It beame British in 1825 following the were driven out in 1854Anglo-Dutch Treaty of 1824.
