There is no clear information on the history thereafter. It is thought that A Contract was made in 1919 for the line was being worked by [[Indian Midland Railway]](IMR) in 1890for 'maintaining and working the Sindia State Railway'<refname=name/>Fibis Fact File No. 4</ref>
It seems most likely that the Sindia State Railway joined with the IMR which had a comparatively brief existence before being amalgamated in 1900 with the [[Great Indian Peninsula Railway]](GIPR)
