Have been unable to find any account of the conflict but Google Books has a snippet in New Army List Militia List 1881 which refers to the service of a Lt Col T.N.Walker of 17th Punjab Infantry who was at battles at Amsoth, Bagawalla and Nugeega (sic). Bhaguwala is on the road between Amsot and Nagina (sic). Google Books also has Bulletins and Other State Intelligence 1858 with a record of Colour Sergeant James Roper of 1st Battalion 60th Rifles dangerously wounded at Bhagawalla (sic) on 17 April 1858.--Sy 09:44, 2 June 2008 (PDT)
