The Society published a quarterly, fully illustrated journal, The Bulletin, which contained a wide range of military research, articles and provides book reviews and a forum for members' questions. The Society also produces Special Publications. Further details of these can be found on the website.

The British Library has holdings of The Bulletin - Military Historical Society from Volume 3 no. 9 (Aug. 1952). There was a minor change of title in 1993 to The Bulletin of the Military Historical Society.
