The '''Unattached List''' recorded Warrant Officers ([[Conductors]] and Sub- Conductors) and Non-Commissioned Officers (mainly Sergeants) who were not attached to a regiment. This mainly covered soldiers working for the [[Ordnance]], [[Commissariat]] and [[Public Works Department]]s.
