Oral History Collection. The interviews are available to listen to, or a transcript may be read. Read this Times On Line article dated 7 December 2009 about the collection of oral histories and home videos

There are also collections of papers and memoirs, part of the South Asian Archives

The Centre holds a sizable archive of films - approximately 50 individual collections totalling in the region of 80 hours of footage. Most of the material held is 16mm or 8mm home movies, taken between 1911 and 1956, which give a unique perspective of life in South Asia towards the end of the British Empire and in the first years of independence. Read more about the Film Archive which may be viewed online.
