The [[Bengal-Nagpur Railway]] broad gauge([[Rail_gauge#Broad_Gauge|BG]]) ‘Kalimati-Gorumahisani Extension Railway’ from Kalimati (later called Tatanagar Junction, 5km south of [[Jamshedpur]]) to [[Gorumahisani]] The line was 40 miles(64km) in length and opened in 1911

The ‘[[Gurumaishini-Sini Railway Project]]’ was a proposal in 1906 for Messrs Tata and Sons to construct an Iron and Steelworks near [[Sini]] in Mourbhanj State to connect with the [[Bengal-Nagpur Railway]](BNR) network at [[Gurumaishini]].
