Hi Maureen - Thank you for your message. The external links guidelines should be strictly considered - links not adhering to these will be removed. In particular archived websites may have been taken down by the author of that site for a good reason - in fact, many have poor display. Personal photographs fall under the same criteria. Additional Comment - I am not sure to which edits you refer. However, having had a further glance I can see that the whole article "Life in India" has been earmarked for a cleanup so I shall go through it gradually and tidy ...there are many links to check! Beverly 10 June 2015
