Sy, I have made a little template to tie Bengal Army topics together and make navigation smoother. Suggestions for additions welcome. I have added it to all the regiments you have recently edited, but would you be able to add it in as you access further relevant pages? It is just a very simple addition of <nowiki>{{Template:Bengal Army}}</nowiki> to the top of each page. Many thanks. [[User:Sarahb|Sarah]] 13:05, 15 January 2010 (PST)
:Thanks. Yes, I was thinking some sort of table might be needed. Anyway we have a precedent in [[101st - 109th Regiments of Foot - Lineage]]. I think the format you suggest will work, if I understand what you have said. Will the table you have in mind be okay for multiple battalions? I am picturing that a person will be able to say "My ancestor was in the 18th Regiment in 1789", look at the line for regiments called 18th and in the column with the date nearest to 1789 see that this was the 12th Reg in 1824 (and then click through to see the 12th Reg's page). Is that what you mean? [[User:Sarahb|Sarah]] 15:22, 16 January 2010 (PST)

Maureen has asked why we have the content for the [[92nd Regiment of Foot]] redirected to the [[100th Regiment of Foot]] (which they were only called for 4 years). Do we have a particular naming convention that has caused this? If not, I suggest reversing the redirect. [[User:Sarahb|Sarah]] 06:06, 18 January 2010 (PST)
