Oghi was a small town, the main bazaar and headquarters in the Agror Valley, Hazara District, North West Frontier Province.


Military

  • Headquarters of the Hazara Border Military Police, who were based at the small Oghi Fort. Apart from these local levies of border police, small contingents from regular British Indian Army battalions were also posted here from time to time, to help control the tribes of the Black Mountain (Kala Dhaka) enclave.
