The '''Rajpipla State Railway''' (RSR) was a 2ft 6in/762mm narrow gauge([[Rail_gauge#Narrow_Gauge|NG]]), the first 19 mile(30km)section from [[AnkleswarAnklesvar]] opening in 1897 and extended ran from [[Rajpipla]] to [[Nandod]] station in 1899, a length of 37 miles(59km). A further short extension to [[Nandod]] town was completed in 1917. The line was worked by [[Bombay, Baroda and Central India Railway]](BB&CIR)

It was originally opened under the auspices of Maharana Chhatrasinhji, Raja of Rajpipla, in 1899 as a small narrow gauge railway and named the [[Anklesvar -Rajpipla Railway]], 1897 and worked by the [[Bombay, Baroda and Central India Railway]](BB&CIR)
