- 1882, Chief Engineer East Indian Railway on Sir Bradford Leslie becoming EIR Agent [2]
- 1884, Joint inventor (with Wybrants George Olpherts) of the 'Denham-Olpherts Cast Iron Sleeper and Chair', which has been extensively employed in India[1].
