Burma, Thanat Chaung Forest Tramway

The Burma Forest Department, Ataran Division, leased the Thanat Chaung Forest concession to 'Fouar & Company'. In 1914 it was reported that a log skidder was in use at the terminus of their 7 mile(11km) long 2ft/610mm narrow gauge(NG) foresty tramway at Thanat Chaung railway station on the Burma Railway(BR). The line was still in use in 1939-40. Details of locomotives used are not known [1].
