Cawnpore, Field Gun Factory Railway
The 'Field Gun Factory' at Cawnpore had been in use for some timme before the Second World War (date unknown). The record shows that there was a broad gauge(BG) locomotive dated 1936 in use at this factory. It can only be ussumed that the factory was connected to the East Indian Railway (EIR) network at Cawnpore [1].
No further information has been found.
