The '''South Bihar Behar Railway''' Company was a privately owned formed in 1895. The broad gauge([[Rail_gauge#Broad_Gauge|BG]]) line opened in 1879 connecting ran south west from [[Luckeesarai]] and [[KiulLuckeeserai]] in Monghyr District to [[Gaya]], a length distance of some 79 miles(125km126km) the <ref name=name/>.
