The Calcutta Scottish was a regiment of volunteers of Scottish descent.

Chronology

  • 1914 raised as an infantry regiment of the Indian Army.
  • 1917, April 1 redesignated 44th Calcutta Scottish
  • 1920, October 1 redesignated The Calcutta Scottish (Auxiliary Force, India)
