Further research has turned up a village of that name in Uttar Pradesh but no other details. The date in List of Battles & Actions in British India 1600-1900 might indicate it being an engagement in the 1st Burmese War and the Presidency being Bengal might suggest it was a conflict in Assam.--[[User:Symorsebrown|Sy]] 08:14, 23 January 2009 (PST) | |||
