Comment on Battle Location
Can find no reference to this place or conflict in 1825-26.--Sy 06:37, 12 June 2008 (PDT)
Further research has turned up a village of that name in Uttar Pradesh but no other details. The date in List of Battles & Actions in British India 1600-1900 might indicate it being an engagement in the 1st Burmese War and the Presidency being Bengal might suggest it was a conflict in Assam.--Sy 08:14, 23 January 2009 (PST)
Final thought. More probably a variant of Beana which was a fort surrendered after the capture of Bhurtpore.--Sy 08:23, 23 January 2009 (PST)
