The Hyderabad-Godavari Valley Railway section from Manmad to Sailu opened late 1899 and was linked to Secunderabad by the end of 1900. It was a metre gauge(MG) line and part of the network of Nizam's Guaranteed State Railway(NGSR) it linked Manmad to Hyderabad, a length of 301 miles(482km) and was completed in 1901. [1] [2]
