The "Daund-Baramati Railway" was a metre gauge(MG) track completed in 1906. This connecting Daund to Baramati, a distance of 23 miles(37 km) with one intermediate station at Kathphal. The line was worked by the Great Indian Peninsula Railway(GIPR)
