The '''Chaparmukh-Silghat Railway''' was a privately constructed and financed metre gauge([[Rail_gauge_#Metre_Gauge|MG]]) railway worked by [[Assam-Bengal Railway]](ABR). The line between [[Chaparmukh]] and [[Silghat]] , a distance of 51 miles(82km) was sanctioned for construction in October 1915.
