Khost Colliery Tramway - North Western Railway


The 'Khost Colliery', owned by [[North Western Railway]](NWR) opened in 1877 to supply coal for the NWR. The 'Khost Colliery' was situated in the 'Khost-Sharigh-Harnai Coal Belt' some 30-40 mile (48-64km) east of [[Quetta]], and at an altitude ofabout 4,000 feet(1,200 metres).
