An on-line search of the India Office Records (IOR) records held at the British Library relating to a tramway [1] gives the following:-
- Z/E/4/24/G26; “Ganges River, Tramway to be constructed to facilitate transit on”; 1853-1854
This records is a Card Index and appears incorrect - it does not refer to a Tramway
