Barnagore Jute Factory Co Ltd Railway

The 'Barnagore Jute Factory Co Ltd' at Barngore, North 24 Paraganas District was a Jute Mill with 'George Henderson & Co' as Managing Agent. In 1917 it was operating with 2,275 looms [1].

The records indicate that a 2ft/610mm narrow gauge(NG) and 2ft 6in/762mm (NG) systems were operational at the mill <ref name =WB125>.
