The Cossipore Field Brigade were an auxiliary regiment.
Chronology
- 1884 raised 1st February[1]
- 1888 redesignated as Cossipore Artillery Volunteers on the 7th September[1]
- 1917 became I. (Cossipore) Mobile Brigade Artillery, 1st April[2]
- 1920 redesignated IV. (Cossipore) Field Brigade, 1st October[2]
- 1925 amalgamated with the I. (Calcutta Port Defence) Field Brigade on the 18th December to form the Bengal Artillery (AFI)
