Synopsis
With the encouragement of Yar Mahomed in Herat Aktar Khan threw off his professed allegiance to Shah Shuja and threatened the garrison at Gereshk. Captain Woodburn was sent to deal with the rebellion and defeated 6,000 Durrani tribesmen outside the fortress.
