Chamber of Commerce
The Karachi Chamber of Commerce was established in 1860 with 7 founder members: McIver and Company, Barclay, Watson and Company, Fleming and Company, T. Lidbetter and Company,Finlay and Company, J.K. Dunolly and Company and Ashburner, Bell and Company.[1] Until 1947, it was predominately European though two local firms, S. Tyabjee and Company and Ardaseer and Company did join by the end of the first year (1860).[2]
