The Darrang District Tramway in Assam had been reconnoitred in 1896, and still under consideration in 1906.
It was to operate between Ranoamti Ghat to Ghaorapara and was to be called the Mangaldoi Tramway. [1] Darrang is an administrative district in the state of Assam in India. The district headquarters are located at Mangaldoi. The district occupies an area of 3481 km2.
There is no evidence that this tramway was constructed.
