Original file (1,578 × 1,884 pixels, file size: 379 KB, MIME type: image/jpeg)
This soldier is wearing the Queen of South Africa medal for service in the Boer War of 1899-1902. His cap badge indicates he was a member of the County of London Battalion (St Pancras).
He was probably one of about one hundred soldiers that formed a Territorial force that volunteered to go out to South Africa for about a year.
