The Coorg and Mysore Rifles were an auxiliary regiment based in Coorg and Mysore. They served under the Madras command.

Chronology

  • 1884 raised 21st Nov (by Govt of India letter No. 2752-E., dated 21st Nov 1884)[1]
  • 1897 transferred to Coorg and Mysore (GGO 526, dated 15th May 1897)[1]
