Eastern Bengal Railway Battalion
Originally raised as the Eastern Bengal State Railway Volunteer Rifle Corps on the 1st March 1873. Amalgamated with the Northern Bengal State Railway Volunteer Rifle Corps which was raised on the 24th January 1879 and became the Eastern Bengal Railway Volunteer Rifle Corps in 1882. Resumed original designation on the 21st November 1884 and then became the 12th Eastern Bengal Railway Battalion on the 1st April 1917. Became the Eastern Bengal Railway Battalion on 1st October 1920.

Badge - Tiger's head encircled by a laurel wreath and surmounted by a crown. Above the crown is a scroll with the motto inscribed and below is a scroll with "Eastern Bengal Railway Battalion" is inscribed
Motto - "Semper Paratus"
