Known as 41st Dogras

History

  • 1900 raised as the 41st (Dogra) Bengal Infantry
  • 1901 became 41st Dogra Infantry
  • 1903 became 41st Dogras
  • 1922 amalgamated with the 37th and 38th Dogras to become the 3rd Battalion 17th Dogra Regiment
  • 1947 allocated to India on Partition as The Dogra Regiment
