The Tawa Valley Coal Railway was a 9 miles long private 2ft 6in/762mm narrow gauge(NG) light railway. [1]

The line opened in 1941-42 to link the privately owned Tawa Valley coal mines to Betul to connect to the broad gauge(BG) mainline. [2]
