Dowlaiswaram Anicut Railroad, Rajahmundry
A railroad constructed to transport dam building materials over the Godavry River. Constructed 1846 as part of Captain Aurthur Thomas Cotton’s irrigation scheme. Wagons hauled by ponies or men. Project completed 1852 and assumed railway dismantled.
