1864 became 18th (Alipore) Regiment of Bengal Native Infantry
1885 became 18th Regiment of Bengal Infantry
1902 became 18th Musulman Rajput Infantry
1903 became 18th Infantry
1922 united with 6th Jat Light Infantry, 119th Infantry (The Mooltan Regiment), and 10th Infantry, to form 4th Bn, 9th Jat Regiment
