9th Jat Regiment

9th Jat Regiment was formed in 1922 by amalgamation of four existing regiments and consisted of four regular battalions. Further Battalions were formed during the Second World War

• 1st Battalion: see 6th Regiment of Jat Light Infantry
• 2nd Battalion: see 119th Infantry (The Mooltan Regiment)
• 3rd Battalion: see 10th Regiment of Jat Infantry
• 4th Battalion: see 18th Musulman Rajput Infantry
