Kamptee-Deolapar-Ramtek Railway
The Kamptee-Deolapar-Ramtek Railway was a private company. They applied in 1903 to construct a narrow gauge(NG) light railway from the north bank of the Kanhan river at Kamptree to Deolapar with a branch to Munsar to Ramtek. [1]
The line was to be 34 miles(55 km) in length to carry the produce from the manganese mines in Ramtek, much of the track would be on public roads.
There is some evidence this line was approved and constructed by 1906 and worked by Bengal-Nagpur Railway(BNR) but little to provide further corroboration.
