The Bahawalnagar-Fort Abbas Railway was a Durbar line financed by the Princely Bahawalpur State. The line opened in 1928 and was worked by North Western Railway(NWR) [1]
The line linked Bahawalnagar with Fort Abbas, a line length of 70miles (112km). Owned by Bahawalpur State Durbar, who also owned the Khanpur-Chachran Railway, and formed an important part of the NWR network.
Transferred to Pakistan following independence and subsequently dismantled[1].
