1903 became 54th Sikhs (Frontier Force)
1922 became 4th Battalion 12th Frontier Force
1945 became 4th Battalion (Sikhs) Frontier Force Regiment
1947 allocated to Pakistan on Partition
1957 became 6th Battalion Frontier Force Regiment
