Judge
Judges are part of the Indian Civil Service being part of the Judicial service coming either from the legal profession, or from a promotion of a Magistrate.
Unlike other civil servants, that answer to a variety of masters, Judges answer only to the High Court.
Role:
- To listen to appeals from subordinate judges – usually Indian judges
- Conduct criminal trials
