Location Infobox

A Locations Infobox is used to summarize information about a particular location. A completed version, as it appears in an article, can be seen here.

An infobox can be quickly and easily added using the {{Locations_infobox}} template shown below. Just copy and paste the text into an article and fill in the fields. It is fine to leave any fields blank. Place the infobox at the very top of an article, before any other text.

• Place the template at the very top of an article, before any other text.
• It is quite in order to leave fields blank - if you don't know, don't guess!
• In the Present Day Details section, links should be to Wikipedia articles as these cover the modern location in a way our wiki cannot.
• If you have an image to contribute, please make sure that its use does not infringe copyright. If at all in doubt, don't use it.
• You can use the normal codes to format text.
• As a rule, you cannot change the positioning of text (eg the text in the Transport field is always centred).
• Use square brackets - [[ and ]] - to link to related FibiWiki articles.
• Multiple values given in a single field must be separated by commas and, where appropriate, line breaks (<br>) as spacing them onto separate lines confuses screen reader software.
