The Panposh-Ruipura Railway Company was a privately financed broad gauge(BG) linking Panposh to Ruipura, 14 miles(22km); opened in 1919. The primary purpose of the line was to convey limestone from Raipura.
The line was worked by the Bengal-Nagpur Railway(BNR) [1]
In 1923 the ownership transferred to the Government of India(GoI) with the line being absorbed into the BNR [2]
