Chaparmukh Silghat Railway
The Chaparmukh-Silghat Railway was a privately constructed and financed broad gauge(BG) branch line, worked by Assam-Bengal Railway(ABR). The line between Chaparmukh and Silghat , a distance of 50 miles(80km) was sanctioned for construction in October 1915. [1]
The line was in use by 1919.
