Joravarnagar - Sayla Railway
The Joravarnagar- Sayla Railway was a 2ft 6in/762mm narrow gauge(NG) railway running from Joravarnagar to Sayla. The line was built in 1948 as part of Saurashtra Railway system and was closed in October 1987. [1]
Joravarnagar is a small wayside station on a secondary metre gauge line in Gujarat. Sayla was a small walled town 28 kilometres away through dry scrubby country and between the two were a number of wayside halts serving the local communities. [2]
