Tuticorin Branch Line
The Tuticorin Branch Line was a section of the South Indian Railway metre gauge (MG) 'Madras-Tuticorin Mainline'.
The line from Madura to Tuticorin, 99 miles(158km) opened in 1876. A short extension of 0.4 miles (0.6km) to Tuticorin Foreshore was added in 1899 [1]
