It shows the lineage of every British Army unit to have borne the Regimental numbers 101 to 109. The former Honourable East India Company (HEIC) regiments became part of the [[British Army]] following the [[Indian Mutiny]] of 1857 and adopted the Regimental numbers 101st to 109th Regiments of Foot.
