[[Category:Royal Regiments]]
This page was part of the Family History in India website, by Cathy Day, in the section on Regimental Histories. This particular page was kindly compiled by William Thorne of Sydney, Australia and Cathy has allowed us to transfer it to our wiki. It shows the lineage of every British Army unit to have borne the Regimental numbers 101 to 109. The former Honourable East India Company (HEIC) regiments became part of the [[British Army]] following the [[Indian Mutiny]] of 1857 and adopted the Regimental numbers 101st to 109th Regiments of Foot.
