1702 raised as Earl of Huntingdon's Regiment of Foot
1751 became the 33rd Regiment of Foot
1782 became the 33rd (the 1st Yorkshire West Riding) Regiment of Foot
1853 became the 33rd (The Duke of Wellington's) Regiment of Foot
1881 amalgamated with 76th Regiment of Foot and became the Halifax Regiment (The Duke of Wellington's Own) then Duke of Wellington's (West Riding Regiment)
1920 became the Duke of Wellington's Regiment (West Riding)
2006 amalgamated with other Yorkshire regiments becoming The Yorkshire Regiment
