• 1836 became the 5th (Northumberland Fusiliers) Regiment of Foot
• 1881 became the Northumberland Fusiliers
• 1935 became the Royal Northumberland Fusiliers
• 1968 became the1st Battalion of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers
