*[[Bernard William Cantopher]], Executive Engineer, from [[Public Works Department]](PWD), posted to the [[:Category:State Railways|State Railways]] was employed on the Bellary-Kistna State Railway in 1890 but on furlough (leave)<refname=name> India Civil List 1890, page 41</ref>.
